Mechanical characterisation tests

Through close collaboration with specialized laboratories, we carry out tests of mechanical characterization. These tests are destructive and are carried out on specimens specifically produced, in order to define the characteristics of resistance and the mechanical behavior of materials subjected to quasi-static loads. The applied loads could be: tensile, compressive, bending (3 or 4 points), shear. Investigable materials and structures can be monolithic or sandwich composites and metals.
International certifying authorities have set standards specifically designed in order to obtain precise features from each type of test. The rules are provided to customers by ASTM and ISO standards. In collaboration with the individual customers, and according to the limits of the instruments adopted, it’s also possible to adapt or modify the characteristics of each test in order to obtain details of greater interest for the customer himself.
